  • What Is A Medical Marijuana Certification Card?

    A certification card is a document that a physician signs, stating that the patient's medical condition may receive medical use of marijuana to treat or alleviate their condition or symptoms associated with the medical condition. This document can be obtained when you visit us at Happy Days Certification Center, call us today to arrange the process for you to get a certification.

  • How Do I Get a Certification Card? What Documents Do I Need?

    To become certified for medical marijuana, you need to go through the process in three steps.


    1. Make sure your medical conditions meet the Michigan Medical Marijuana Act. This includes diseases such as HIV/AIDS, Cancer, Alzheimer's, Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Crohn's disease, Glaucoma, Hepatitis C, and Nail-patella syndrome. You must be 18 years or over to meet to qualify for a certification card.


    2.  Schedule An Appointment, arrange a time to meet with our physicians and get their opinion on whether you should receive medical marijuana. Should you qualify, you will receive a written certification stating you qualify for the use of medical marijuana.


    3. Fill out the Application Form, you must complete and submit your MMMP Michigan medical marijuana application form along with a form of residency proof (a driver's license for example). You will also pay a fee for your certification card and caregiver application (if possible).

    - Mailing your application to the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs

  • How Do I Become a Caregiver?

    You have to be 21 years or older to become a caregiver and agreed to the patient's medical use of marijuana. Additionall,y you must not have a felony involving illegal drugs.


    If you have been convicted, you make sure that felony were convicted of is at least 10 years old. Lastly, you must pay the caregiver's fee when registering as a patient's caregiver.


    Usually the patient is the sone who assigns the caregiver regardless if they officially certified or not. Please note that you must also provide a valid document (driver's license or state i.d.) to these appointments!
